More than 200 kids ages 6 to 17 joined Kidz for a Cause for its ThinkTank 2016 FUNraising campaign and raised $300,540 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Hawaii-based organization is run by kids and combines positivity, talent, and energy to spearhead unique fundraisers benefiting keiki in our community.
Hawaii Pacific Health employees generously donated their own money to help patients, raising a record $944,900 for the 2016 Hawaii Pacific Health Employee Giving Campaign. American Savings Bank employees raised $72,641 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children through their annual employee giving campaign, Kahiau. The funds will support the hospital’s Child Life Services program, which provides various services for pediatric patients to help them cope positively with their illness and hospitalization.

Nothing can stop teens from attending their first prom – except maybe an illness that lands them in the hospital. For the past four years, the staff and volunteers at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children have done the seemingly impossible and brought the prom to their patients, not only to extend the care they provide to patients every day, but to create a fun, comfortable and safe environment for patients to have an unforgettable experience.

The Pali Momi Women’s Center at Pali Momi Medical Center recently celebrated the unveiling of a renovated Patient Resource Room made possible through a donation from First Hawaiian Bank’s Kokua Mai Employee Giving Campaign. A total of $20,600 was donated to Pali Momi by First Hawaiian Bank employees and retirees.
Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, Hawaii’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, partnered with nine Walmart stores and two Sam’s Clubs in Hawaii to raise $163,175, which will support the hospital's Pediatric Transport Team in providing lifesaving care to newborns and children from across the state.
