West Oahu's First Comprehensive Cancer Center Opens at Pali Momi Medical Center
The new Hawaii Pacific Health Cancer Center at Pali Momi Medical Center opened with a blessing ceremony and grand opening event attended by physicians and staff, community and construction partners, and government leaders. The 24,000-square-foot center will provide comprehensive and coordinated cancer care, including diagnosis, treatment and support services, in one convenient and centralized location for Central and West Oahu residents.

Hawaii Pacific Health Employees Donate Record $1 Million to Help Create a Healthier Hawaii
Hawaii Pacific Health employees generously donated their own money to help patients and their families, raising $1,057,128 for the 2017 Hawaii Pacific Health Employee Giving Campaign. The record amount surpassed the campaign’s $1 million goal, and was raised over a one-month period through personal gifts and pledges by more than 4,100 staff members.
Hawaii Pacific Health Recognized by Hawaii State Legislature for Excellence in Health Information Technology
As part of National Health IT Week, the Hawaii-Alaska Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), hosted a special Hawaii Health IT Day at the Hawaii State Capitol, which included a ceremony honoring Hawaii Pacific Health as the most recent recipient of the HIMSS Enterprise Davies Award, a national award that recognizes outstanding achievement in health information technology.
Community Raises $55,000 for Kapiolani Medical Center at Ko Olina Children's Festival
Ticket sales and contributions from the Ko Olina Resort Association resulted in a $55,000 donation to Kapiolani at the fourth annual Ko Olina Children’s Festival, a benefit event held Saturday, Sept. 23. Over the past four years, a total of $210,000 has been raised by the Ko Olina Children’s Festival for Kapiolani to help care for the children of Hawaii.
Kapiolani's 2017 Radiothon for Kids Exceeds its Goal Raising More Than $227,000
Coming off a record year, Radiothon for Kids exceeded it’s 2017 goal by raising $227,345.17 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children over a two-day live broadcast on KSSK. More than 1,200 individual gifts from sponsors, community members and KSSK listeners led to the success of this annual fundraiser for Hawaii’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Wilcox Health celebrates its 10th annual Kids Summer Fest to promote safe and healthy summer fun for Kauai keiki and their families on Saturday, June 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kauai Marriot Resort. The annual event features interactive health and wellness activities, free sports physicals for children ages 5 to 18 (first-come, first-served), and free giveaways of bicycles, helmets and other great prizes.
UH OB-GYN Department Donates $100K for Physician Rooms at Kapiolani Medical Center
The University of Hawaii Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health is donating $100,000 to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, in conjunction with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine faculty practice, University Health Partners of Hawaii, in support of women's services at Kapiolani. Three sleep rooms reserved for OB-GYN residents and physicians who need rest during long shifts, especially those working late nights and early mornings, will be named in honor of the donation.

Wilcox Medical Center Invites Families to 2017 Kauai Keiki Bike & Safety Day
Wilcox Medical Center is partnering with several community organizations to present the 2017 Kauai Keiki Bike & Safety Day, a free safety education event for kids and families on Saturday, May 6, at Wilcox Medical Center that will feature bicycle and skateboard skills enhancement courses, a helmet fit station where Wilcox will be fitting and giving away free dual certified helmets for keiki, and drawings for a new bike and skateboard.
Hawaii's Credit Unions Exceed Campaign Goal by Raising $536,444 for Kapiolani Medical Center
Hawaii’s Credit Unions created a fundraising initiative in 2013 named “5 in 5” that represented a five-year goal to raise $500,000 for the Campaign for Hawaii’s Children in support of Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children. Now less than four years later, Hawaii’s Credit Unions have surpassed the goal and recently presented Kapiolani with a check for $536,444.
