Pali Momi Medical Center Becomes First in Hawaii to Offer Patients a New Heart Failure Monitoring Solution

Pali Momi Medical Center is the first facility in Hawaii to implant a new miniaturized, wireless monitoring sensor to manage heart failure (HF). The CardioMEMS HF System is the first and only FDA-approved heart failure monitoring device that has been proven to significantly reduce hospital admissions when used by physicians to manage heart failure.

American Savings Bank Employees Raise Nearly $60,000 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children

American Savings Bank employees raised $59,990 for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children through their annual giving campaign, Kahiau. The funds will support the hospital’s Child Life Services Program, which provides activities for pediatric patients to help bridge the gap between home and the hospital.
