Racing Event Raises $6,000 For Women’s Center at Wilcox Medical Center
The Garden Isle Racing Association made a pit stop at Wilcox Medical Center to present a donation of $6,000. The money was raised at a recent Ladies Night drag racing event at Kauai Raceway Park and, in line with the theme, will support the Women’s Center at Wilcox.

Blessing Held for New Emergency Department at Wilcox Medical Center
State and county leaders joined Wilcox Medical Center staff and community members today to celebrate the blessing of the facility’s new Emergency Department (ED). The new space features two trauma resuscitation suites and several specialized care rooms. Wilcox is Kauai’s only Level III Trauma Center and the first in Hawaii to be verified by the American College of Surgeons.
