The equipment in the exam room must have been 20-30 years old. I am amazed that someone of Dr. Bal's quality stays at Straub with the antiquated facilities she is forced to use. If she leaves, I would have no hesitation to follow her for care.
I had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor. I understand that can happen but would have appreciated it if someone let me know when I checked in or at least after 2o minutes. Cost me an extra $2 parking, too.
This was an emergency. They tried very hard to fit me in and give me the attention that I needed.

I'm extremely happy and pleased that I have Dr. BAL as my ophthalmologist, hopefully for a very long time since many have retired. Dr. BAL is very thorough, professional and knowledgeable and I'm grateful that she explains in detail about my upcoming cataract eye surgery. I feel very comfortable and confident in Dr BAL as my physician to preform my surgery. And I must commend her medical assistance staff for also providing me information for this procedure.
