Dr. Alberto Santos-Ocampo joined Straub in 2003. He is originally from the Philippines. He graduated with degrees in Biology, summa cum laude, and Doctor of Medicine, both from the University of the Philippines. He specializes in lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, vasculitis, crystal arthritis and other inflammatory joint diseases. Dr. Santos-Ocampo does not manage fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome.
He is current Head of the Rheumatology department and is involved with teaching rheumatology to University of Hawaii Family Medicine residents. He also gives talks at medical conferences and lay meetings.
