Families in Central Oahu now have a new, convenient clinic for everything from urgent care and regular checkups to mammograms, imaging and specialty care. On August 26, Straub Benioff Medical Center officially opened its new Mililani Clinic & Urgent Care at the Town Center of Mililani.

At 24,000 square feet, it is the largest Straub Benioff neighborhood clinic in Hawaii and offers a single location for patients. Previously, there were two clinics: one at Mililani Shopping Center and the previous location at the Town Center, which have now closed. The spacious new facility has 55 exam rooms with areas dedicated to pediatrics, family medicine, OB-GYN and dermatology. There are also flexible spaces designed for a rotating slate of specialists from across Hawaii Pacific Health, including sports medicine physicians, rheumatologists, endocrinologists and other specialty care. Imaging and laboratory services are also offered onsite.

“We designed the Mililani Clinic & Urgent Care to meet the health care needs of families of Central Oahu now and into the future,” said Dr. Leslie Chun, Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Group CEO. “This clinic will be an outpatient innovation center, where the latest technology will be utilized to streamline everything from making appointments to coordinating screenings, giving our physicians and staff more opportunities to engage personally with patients.”

The opening of the new clinic also comes with new services for patients. Urgent Care is now open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The addition of 3D mammograms will enhance imaging capability in Mililani by providing more detailed breast cancer screenings. Straub Benioff has also expanded its Mililani primary care team to provide the highest-quality care for everyone from keiki to kupuna.

“At Straub Benioff, we are committed to creating healthier communities, and an important part of that is working to ensure families can get the care they need, when they need it, in their neighborhood,” said Terence Young, Straub Benioff CEO. “As Central Oahu continues to grow and evolve, our new Mililani Clinic & Urgent Care enables our health care teams to be able to adapt to continue providing the highest-quality care for patients of all ages.”

Straub Benioff opened its first clinic in Mililani at the Town Center in the late 1980s. Construction on the clinic began in 2022 in partnership with the Town Center of Mililani.

“Town Center of Mililani is thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of the new Straub Benioff clinic,” said Shelley Morisaki, Town Center of Mililani general manager. “In keeping with our ‘open daily’ policy, it’s great to know that urgent care will also now be available seven days a week at our property. We look forward to partnering with Straub Benioff for future endeavors.”

Managed by M&J Wilkow, Town Center of Mililani is the largest shopping center in Central Oahu and also one of the largest in the state of Hawaii, spanning a total of 477,000 square feet.
