Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, 6th Edition
This is a 2-Day Provider Course.
November 17 & November 25, 2025
OFFERING INFORMATION:
ENPC is an internationally standardized 2-day provider course designed to provide anyone who works in a pediatric setting with pediatric emergency nursing knowledge and psychomotor skill experience.
--Multi-platform learning with a provider manual, interactive, pre-course online modules and instructor-led classroom activities
--Case-scenario based online modules, some with avatar driven simulation experiences
--Patient experience videos allow you to hear from pediatric patients and their caregivers
--Electronic testing using the provider manual as a reference
--Hands-on skill stations for trauma, respiratory emergencies and procedures and sedation
--Games and other interactive exercises to explore prioritization and various pediatric emergency patient presentations
The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) will issue a card verifying the successful completion of the ENPC course (RNs only). Expiration will occur 4 years from the month in which the card was issued. Other healthcare professionals may attend as auditors.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. Describe life threatening illnesses and injuries in children.
2. Identify anatomic and physiologic differences in children.
3. Describe the assessment process for pediatric patients.
4. Describe the required interventions and the process to evaluate the effectiveness.
5. Identify the health promotion strategies in the pediatric population.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
PLEASE NOTE - THE CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR THIS COURSE IS NOT PROVIDED BY HPH.
Upon successful completion of all requirements of ENPC, 18.25 CNE hours will be awarded by the Emergency Nurses Association. The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Provider Unit No. P0232. The Emergency Nurses Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2322.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The Registration Fee is $165, including the textbook. Fees are non-refundable but may be applied to a future course offering.
