2025 Hawaii Sports Medicine Summit

OFFERING INFORMATION:
This summit will provide clinicians with up-to-date, current best practice recommendations in sports medicine.

Day One: June 13, 2025 at 8:00AM - 5:15PM
Day Two: June 14, 2025 at 8:00AM - 4:45PM


OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
1. Apply injury prevention strategies to reduce heat illness incidents in athletics.
2. Evaluate, as a team, sports-related concussion using a variety of techniques.
3. Identify sports medicine trends in the performing arts setting.


CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Hawai‘i Pacific Health (HPH), the Hawai‘i Athletic Trainers’ Association (HATA) and Hawai‘i Concussion Awareness Management Program (HCAMP). Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for 15.0 contact hours for nurses. Nurses should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health (BOC AP#:4006398) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of 15.0 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the education program.
