OFFERING INFORMATION:
This offering is an overview of the similarities and differences of the four generations currently in our workplace: Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X-ers, Baby Boomers and Traditionalists. This offering will look at how to work together more effectively across generations, including communication preferences.
This offering consists of two sessions. Session One is web-based in the HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) and the Session Two is Live Virtual via Zoom.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Engage the key general characteristics of the four generations in the workplace.
2. Apply the Human-Business Model and Active Listening in interactions with the team at work.
3. Develop an action plan for developing the concept and skills learned in this class.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
