OFFERING INFORMATION:
This series will equip the attendees with the knowledge and confidence to provide pediatric trauma care for the injured keiki of Hawaii.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Integrate and apply new knowledge to decrease morbidity and mortality in pediatric trauma.
2. Implement best practices to improve outcomes in the care of pediatric trauma patients.
3. Develop and foster teamwork and collaboration among physicians, nurses and other community clinicians for the common goal of comprehensive and integrated care of the trauma patient.


CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ for physicians. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
