Target Audience: Physicians /Nurses
This activity is intended for employees of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, including non-employees who have credentialed privileges within HPH.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
1. Analyze and evaluate patients (infants, children, teenagers, and young adults) with congenital heart defects using a composite of diagnostic tools including echocardiograms, ECGs, Holter monitors, cardiac CT and MRI images and cardiac catheterization data with angiograms.
2. Identify risk factors and comorbid conditions that may influence the severity of cardiac conditions and alter therapeutic options and overall outcome.
3. Integrate the diagnostic studies of patients with congenital heart disease in order to develop an appropriate treatment plan according to the state-of-the-art standards dictated by published guidelines.
4. Manage complications and residual defects related to surgical and interventional procedures commonly utilized in patients with congenital heart disease.

Continuing Education
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (s) TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

For Nurses we are offering ANCC Contact Hours
