Alllergies result from how the body’s immune system reacts to a food, medication, or something in the environment such as pollen or an insect sting. Allergic reactions can range from itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing, to skin conditions like hives and eczema, to a life-threatening reaction called “anaphylaxis.” Allergies are sometimes associated with asthma.
Different tests can be used to diagnose allergies, and there are a variety of treatments depending on the type of allergy, its cause and how severe it is.
Diagnosing allergies and finding the right treatments for each person is our specialty.
