OFFERING INFORMATION:
Talk Story with local experts about updates, challenges and opportunities regarding the new Hep B Vaccine recommendations.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify the current CDC recommendations for Hepatitis B vaccination.
2. Identify resources in Hawaii for implementing these recommendations.
3. Collaborate with other health care professionals to develop plans to increase the rates of Hepatitis B vaccination among various populations in Hawaii.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Hawai‘i Pacific Health (HPH), the Hawai‘i Immunization Coalition (HIC) and HepFree Hawai‘i. Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
