OBJECTIVES:
1. Improve workforce well-being for the healthcare team and patient well-being during pandemic.
2. Improve population health outcomes in a Covid and Post Covid environment with Physician-led initiatives.
3. Review virtual platforms in situations where it is clinically appropriate and beneficial to do so.
4. Adjust to the changing healthcare environment due to Covid. Building their readiness for the new normal with its challenges and opportunities.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ for physicians. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
MOC POINTS:
This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evalution component, enables the participant to earn up to 3.5 MOC part two points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for this activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant complete information to the ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC Credit.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to satisfy the Lifelong Learning, Self-Assessment, and Improvement in Medical Practice and/or Patient Safety requirements for the American Board of Ophthalmology’s Maintenance of Certification program.
