TARGET AUDIENCE:
This signature HOA event aims to bring together internationally recognized experts, HOA Members, Residents, Medical Students and Allied Health Professionals to learn about and discuss the latest advances in Orthopaedic Surgery. In addition, the symposium features research being conducted by the University of Hawai'i (UH) and Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), and it provides a constructive forum for discussions and networking.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
1. Examine current advances in orthopedic practice.
2. Apply advances to community practice.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Hawai'i Pacific Health and the Hawai'i Orthopaedic Association. Hawai'i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
