Same-Day Surgery Entrance and Corridor Improvements at Wilcox Medical Center

Temporary Access Changes: March 30-April 26

Due to construction work at Wilcox Medical Center, the Same-Day Surgery entrance and corridor will be closed from March 30 through April 26. During this time, temporary changes will be in place for Same-Day Surgery check-in and building access.

Same-Day Surgery Check-In

During construction, Same-Day Surgery check-in will temporarily move to Conference Room A, located off the main lobby of Wilcox Medical Center.

Patients, visitors and staff can access the main lobby and Same-Day Surgery check-in through the following entrances:

  • Infusion Center entrance, facing Walmart.
  • Spine entrance at the front of Wilcox Medical Center, next to the Gift Shop.
  • Breezeway connecting Wilcox Medical Center to Kauai Medical Clinic.

Patient Drop-Off and Pickup

The closest drop-off and pickup location for Same-Day Surgery check-in is the Infusion Center entrance, facing Walmart.

Drop-off and pickup are also available at the Spine entrance at the front of Wilcox Medical Center, next to the Gift Shop.

All public traffic and HandiVans must use one of these entrances for patient drop-off and pickup.

Wilcox Café Access

The Wilcox Café will remain open during construction, accessible through the alternate entrances noted above. See hours, menu and more.

Medical Records Access

To access Medical Records, please use the back entrance across from Sun Village. Please do not park in Sun Village. A drive-through area is available for short-term parking while visiting Medical Records.
