Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Beaty completed his pediatric residency at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, LA and his fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Beaty also joined the staff of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to provide pediatric hospitalist care at the Scottish Rite hospital. Upon completing his specialty training, Dr. Beaty joined the faculty at Emory University as an assistant professor and pediatric pulmonology specializing in the care of children with cystic fibrosis and chronic ventilatory needs. Most recently, Dr. Beaty served as a pediatric pulmonologist at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He also joined the faculties at Tulane University as an assistant professor and the University of Queensland, Australia as a senior lecturer. His significant achievement at Ochsner was working with a task force to improve and standardize care delivered to children with chronic technology dependence.
