Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Susie Chang earned her Bachelors of Science at Brown University and her Doctorate of Medicine from Ohio State University. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she also received the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship Award. Prior to joining HPH, she served as Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology and Vitreoretinal Fellowship Director at Ohio State. She has participated as co-investigator of several national clinical research trials for the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and macular edema, and has authored a number of peer-reviewed publications. Her goal is to educate patients and their families and provide compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs.
