Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Rick Inae is a General Surgeon at Pali Momi Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy and immediately went on to Loma Linda University School of Medicine upon graduation. In between his internship and residency, Dr. Inae served as the Flight/Battalion Surgeon for the 3rd Military Intelligence Battalion at Camp Humphreys, Korea. After completing General Surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center, he served as an U.S. Army General Surgeon in hospitals at Yongsan, S. Korea; Ft Irwin, CA; and Ft Stewart, GA. During this time, he served as the commander of the 135th Forward Surgical Team in Korea and deployed with the 555th Forward Surgical Team to Afghanistan and the 126th Forward Surgical Team to Iraq. As a military surgeon with 14 years active duty time, Dr. Inae’s General Surgery experiences encompass a broad scope of surgery ranging from academic and community hospital based practices to rural surgery and battlefield medicine.
