Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Michael R. Pharaon received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of California, Irvine. He went on to continue a Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Virginia, followed by an additional year of fellowship training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill specializing in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. He has presented research at both national & international plastic surgery, cleft & craniofacial meetings. Additionally Dr. Pharaon travels each year internationally to perform surgery for those in need. While abroad he collaborates with other surgeons helping to refine cleft surgical techniques in developing countries.
