Biography and Interests
Biography
Raised in Texas, Dr. Douglas has been in Hawaii since 1985, when he completed his internship with the University of Hawaii. After moving to Cleveland for ophthalmology residency, Dr. Douglas returned to Honolulu and joined Fronk Clinic and then Straub Clinic in 1990 as a general ophthalmologist. In 1996, Dr. Douglas completed a retinal fellowship in Perth, Australia, and then provided vitreo-retinal surgery services at Straub Clinic until semi-retiring to part time status in 2015.
