Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Lao is the eldest among 3 children. He was born and raised in the Philippines. His mother and grandparents played a big part in his life since his father died when he was 7. His dad's's battle with Lupus inspired him and his sisters to pursue careers in the medical field.
Professional Interests
During his medical schooling, Dr. Lao discovered his passion in working with the elderly population. His time spent growing up with his grandparents and grand aunts and uncles inspired him to go into Geriatrics Fellowship after his residency.
