Biography and Interests
Biography
First generation Mexican-American, originally from California, attended medical school in Iowa and then moved to Hawai'i through the military. Was active duty for 11 years, deployed to Afghanistan in 2017. Term of service ended in 2019 and was honorably discharged with a rank of Major. Is currently a a full time neonatologist at KMCWC.
Professional Interests
Neonatal nutrition. Education of medical students, pediatrics residents and neonatal fellows.
