Biography and Interests

Biography

Devin Puapong was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Iolani School, he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an undergraduate and UCLA for medical school. He completed a residency in general surgery at the Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center and a pediatric surgical research fellowship at UCLA prior to completing his pediatric surgery fellowship at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. He has been practicing pediatric surgery at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children since that time and currently serves as Pediatric Trauma Medical Director as well as Division Chief of General Surgery.
