Biography
Dr. Choi is an accomplished interventional pain physician who specializes in minimally invasive techniques to decrease suffering and enhance the quality of life in his patients. He brings with him a wealth of experience and tools to help people from head to toe. Dr. Choi completed his pain fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He mastered residency training in Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York City. Prior to this, he matriculated at Albany Medical College, New York, where he was inspired to become an interventional pain physician. He is double board certified in pain management and anesthesiology. He has a reputation as an excellent Clinician, a dedicated family man and will continue to bring to the Kauai community the very best world-class patient care possible.
Professional Interests
Dr. Choi specializes in non-invasive and minimally invasive spine treatments including PRP and Stem Cell Therapy, Spinal Cord and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Kyphoplasty, Intrathecal Pump Therapy, Endoscopic Spine Procedures, Nerve Ablation Techniques, and Botox Modalities. He treats axial back pain, radicular pain, peripheral nerve pain, joint pain, headaches, cancer pain, spasticity/movement disorder.
