Biography
Dr. Blair Limm-Chan is a pediatrician who specializes in kidney conditions.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Limm-Chan discovered her interest in kidney diseases while a medical student and resident at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. This led her to complete a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of California Los Angeles, where her research focused on chronic kidney injury and anemia. After fellowship, she returned home to Hawaii, to be a pediatrician with a focus in kidney disease.
Her clinical expertise and interests include chronic kidney injury, high blood pressure in children, hematuria (blood in the urine), proteinuria (protein in the urine) and urinary tract infections. She practices both general pediatrics and pediatric nephrology.
She is also very involved with leading the next generation of medical students as the course director of the kidney unit at UH’s John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Jogging, practicing yoga and spending time with her husband and children.
