Biography and Interests
Biography
Following training in Internal Medicine, Dr. Attilio Avino was invited to be a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Medical Oncology section at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 1973 he joined Straub Medical Center, where he has practiced Medical Oncology ever since. He has seen a lot of progress in the fight against cancer during the last 40 years and hopes very much to see cancer cured in his lifetime.
