Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. Abigail Otto is an obstetrician-gynecologist whose clinic expertise ranges from caring for pregnant patients, managing bothersome menstrual symptoms, evaluating and treating pelvic pain, assisting to navigate menopause and addressing many other conditions in between. She has special interest in both breastfeeding medicine and minimally invasive surgical approaches.
Dr. Otto was born and raised San Francisco, California. She then spent more than a decade in Chicago completing her schooling and medical training before moving back West. She comes to Honolulu with a passion for serving and caring for the women of Hawaii. Here, she joins a strong academic practice where she can foster her her love of teaching the next generation of physicians.
Using evidence-based medicine, her goal is to support her patients in improving their obstetrical and gynecologic health. Dr. Otto partners with her patients in navigating a healthy pregnancy for both mother and baby. This extends to the postpartum experience, when Dr. Otto can apply her breastfeeding expertise to address challenges to help patients meet their breastfeeding goals and foster a positive breastfeeding experience.
