Biography
Dr. Vince Yamashiroya feels privileged to have a busy private practice. He also participates with the Hawaii Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics on various committees, and enjoys teaching at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Yamashiroya appreciates sharing the art and science of medicine with students and residents alike. His philosophy in patient care includes evidence-based medicine, especially when it comes to immunizations and prescribing antibiotics, and the patient-centered medical home model, where the primary care physician is the medical home for the child. He is also the pediatric consultant for Montessori Community School and Maryknoll School during the COVID-19 pandemic.
