Biography and Interests
Biography
Dr. George obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from St George’s University where she undertook clinical rotations in England and New York. Subsequently, she completed a year of internship at the Port of Spain General Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago, followed by a pediatric residency at New York- Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Her specialization in neonatal-perinatal medicine was accomplished during her fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, New York. Her quality improvement initiatives included standardizing perinatal counselling and optimizing infection control.
