Biography
Dr. Gregg T. Kokame is one of the founding physicians of the Pali Momi Medical Center. He was appointed Medical Director of The Retina Center at Pali Momi in 1993. The Retina Center at Pali Momi was Hawaiis first retina center and is the only retina center in the state with national and internationally recognized research and educational programs.
Dr. Kokame has been listed as a Best Doctor in America and in Hawaii since 1996. He also has been invited internationally to speak throughout Asia (Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Korea, Malaysia), the Middle East (Dubai, Jerusalem), and Europe (London, Vienna, Budapest, Croatia).

Dr. Kokame is a member of the prestigious American Ophthalmological Society and Macula Society. He also participates in the Hawaii Ophthalmological Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology (Achievement Award, Senior Achievement Award, Secretariat Award), the Retina Society and the American Society of Retina Specialists (Honor Award, Senior Honor Award).
