BIOGRAPHY & INTERESTS
Biography
Dr. Christopher Jordan was born in Rockland, Maine. He attended high school in the Philippines where his parents were missionaries. He went to Boston University and he studied marine biology in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Dr. Jordan met his wife, Dr. Elaine Kubota, Kauai Medical Clinic anesthesiologist, while at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His 5 year General Surgery training took place at Dartmouth and his fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery was at St. Vincent's Health center in Pennsylvania. After 17 years of General Surgery in Tacoma, Washington, he joined the Kauai Medical Clinic in 2003. Dr. Jordan is a past Chief of Staff at Wilcox Hospital and he is on the Hawai‘i Pacific Health board of directors. Although not actively seeing patients anymore, Dr. Jordan is still busy on many hospital committees, where he focuses on quality.
