Hawaiʻi Pacific Health Names Terence Young Executive Vice President of Oʻahu Operations

Terence Young has been named executive vice president of Oʻahu operations for Hawaiʻi Pacific Health (HPH), one of the state’s leading health care organizations, effective July 1.

In his role, he will serve as chief executive officer of HPH’s three Oʻahu medical centers – Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children, Pali Momi Medical Center and Straub Benioff Medical Center. Young will be a key leader in advancing partnerships and initiatives in support of creating healthier communities across the state.

Young brings more than a decade of leadership experience, operational expertise and strategic vision to this position. Since joining HPH in 2011, he has excelled in key leadership and business operations roles across the system. He was instrumental in the formation of Hawaiʻi Pacific Health Medical Group and has served as its chief operating officer since 2023.

Young was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute. He serves as a board member for the YMCA of Honolulu, Mid-Pacific Alumni Association and Giving Inspiration for Tomorrow Foundation.
