Pali Momi Medical Center Recognized by Healthgrades for Outstanding Patient Experience and Specialty Services

Pali Momi Medical Center has been named a recipient of the 2026 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award, placing the medical center among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for patient experience. This is the seventh time that Pali Momi has received the award, which is based on feedback from patients.
In addition, Pali Momi received several recognitions for clinical excellence in specialty services. The medical center earned Healthgrades’ five-star distinctions for hip fracture treatment for the ninth consecutive year (2018-2026). Pali Momi is also the only hospital in Hawaiʻi to receive five-star ratings in spinal fusion surgery for five consecutive years (2022-2026) and for outpatient back and neck surgery.

Pali Momi has served Central and West Oʻahu for more than 37 years. It’s home to the region’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit, primary stroke center, Level III trauma center, a comprehensive women's center, and one of Hawaiʻi's leading cancer centers.
Each year, Healthgrades recognizes the top hospitals nationwide that provide an exceptional experience for patients during their hospital stay. For its 2026 analysis, Healthgrades evaluated Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey data from nearly 4,000 hospitals across 10 patient experience measures.
These measures focus on patients’ perceptions of their hospital care, including staff communication, medication explanations, and cleanliness. Pali Momi’s Outstanding Patient Experience Award is the direct result of positive patient feedback in these critical areas.
