So, I've always been involved in sports ever since I was a little boy. I I was raised in an athletic family. So, sports has always been in my life. I ran track when I was young. I was super fast. That's why I was a quarterback. I was super fast. I understand the injuries of the athlete and I can understand the pains and problems that they can go through also. So, I thought that orthopedics would definitely be a good fit for me. to take a look at you. You're here because of your knee hurting, right? Yeah. Okay. So, what happened? Fell down our practice. Ah, okay. I actually encourage my patients uh young and old. I want them to be active. They come in to see me for different types of injuries or ailments. First thing I always tell them and they they will tell you themselves. I want them outside and I want them active. That's the best thing in the world for the bodies to remain active. I'm going to give you some exercises for him to do for his need to work on stretching and strengthening. Ice helps out in this situation here. Also, Hawaiʻi to me was designed for people to be outdoors and doing things. So yes, it's it's been very important to those traveling that come here that can get uh injured, you know, accidentally to have that ability to just go see someone about their knee problem or their back problem and to have direct access to someone that is orthopedic trained. I think it is a very important thing, especially in this day and age where people are starting to live longer. So we have our older folks that have that access and have the ability to have those needs taken care of. It's good because we can take care of everything here. If you do have an illness or headaches or stomach aches or anything of that sort, you can also be seen by the medical doctors in the urgent care side, but also if you have the orthopedic injuries, you can see me in the orthopedic urgent care. So, it's a good deal for the Kahala community and also just the community in general.
