The Pap test, which screens for cervical cancer, is one of the most reliable and effective cancer screening tests available.
Along with the Pap test, the HPV test looks for the virus (human papillomavirus) that can cause cell changes leading to cancer.
- Pap Smear screening beginning at age 21
- Pap Smear combined with HPV testing (co-test) for women 30 and older
- Additional option of HPV testing alone for women 25 and older (Primary HPV Screening)
