Care Designed to Support Patients
Navigating the cancer care journey can be overwhelming, which is why the Pali Momi Cancer Center offers support services to provide patients and their families the highest quality, expert care in a safe, comfortable and caring environment.
Following diagnosis, patients are assigned a navigation team that includes nurse navigation, oncology social work and other specialized team members to help guide them through the process, while the care team will help facilitate a seamless experience throughout all treatment steps. Patient support teams help provide educational material as well as transportation and financial resources, if needed. All aspects of care are coordinated with the goal of easing the burden on patients and their families.
Patients also are invited to attend the longstanding cancer support group held on campus twice a month with current patients, survivors and their families.
