The most comprehensive clinic to date from Hawaii Pacific Health is now open to serve residents of Central and West Oahu. Conveniently located at Ka Makana Alii in West Oahu, Straub Medical Center – Kapolei Clinic & Urgent Care offers a variety of services and features specialists from Straub Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children and Pali Momi Medical Center.

“With the population in Kapolei and the West Oahu region continuing to grow at a rapid pace, it’s obvious that there’s a need for quality health care right here where they live and work,” said Art Gladstone, CEO of Straub Medical Center and Pali Momi Medical Center. “We’re very excited to be opening this new clinic, which brings together the expertise of three medical centers – Straub, Pali Momi and Kapiolani – to provide the residents of West Oahu with access to convenient and collaborative care from Hawaii Pacific Health.”

The 16,000-square-foot medical clinic is located in The Grove at Ka Makana Alii. Services include primary care, urgent care and pediatric sports medicine. The clinic also has on-site imaging and laboratory services. Specialty care services for both children and adults, including OB-GYN, will also be available in the near future. Specialists will include physicians who currently practice at Kapiolani, Pali Momi and Straub who will have office hours on select days at the Kapolei clinic.

More than 20 support staff were hired for the new clinic, including medical assistants, patient service representatives, nurses, radiology technologists and others.

Straub’s new Kapolei clinic is open Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., with urgent care services available daily from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. To schedule an appointment at the Kapolei clinic, call 426-9300.

The Kapolei clinic is the first of two new Straub clinics to open this month. On July 15, Straub Medical Center – Ward Village Clinic & Urgent Care will open in the Aeo residential tower in Ward Village at Kakaako. The 4,800-square-foot medical clinic will provide primary care and urgent care services with extended evening and weekend hours to accommodate the growing community. Once opened, the clinic will house four physicians and about 20 support staff.
