1. Can you send me more information about your company?

We encourage prospective employees to reference our Web site for information about our company. The information usually sent out is also found on our Web site.

2. Do you have work opportunities for nursing (RN) students?

We do offer some positions that give nursing students the opportunity to gain experience and see the day-to-day operations on the unit. These entry level positions include Clinical Assistant, Nurse Aide, or Ward Clerk.

3. How do I find out more about volunteer opportunities?

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please visit the individual hospital Web sites to learn more. Simply click on the logos at the top of this page to view each site.

4. Can you explain the different Position Types?

Full-Time Regular:

  • 40 hours/week, or 36 hours/week in departments/units that work 12-hour shifts.

Part-Time 20 or more hours/week:

  • A set schedule of 20 or more hours/week, shown in the position information.
  • Benefits are prorated based on standard scheduled hours.

Part-Time less than 20 hours/week:

  • Work hours may be a predetermined work schedule or scheduled based on the department's needs and the employee's availability.
  • Most positions require flexible work schedules to include evening, night, and weekend shifts.
  • No benefits are provided.

Temporary:

  • A Full-Time, a Part-Time 20 or more hours/week, or a Part-Time less than 20 hours/week position can be filled on a temporary basis, which usually means for less than a 90-day period.
  • Some benefits may be provided depending on the employee's standard scheduled work hours.

Call In / As Needed:

  • No guarantee of hours or schedule.
  • Employees are called in to work as needed, often with minimum advance notice.
