The Cancer Center at Straub is committed to provide patients with top quality, comprehensive and well-coordinated care. Located on the 1st and second floor of the Palma building, the Cancer Center at Straub consists of a team of board certified physicians, certified Outpatient Treatment Center staff, registered dieticians, a Quality of Life professional, and, in the hospital, certified Inpatient hospital staff.
In addition to our screening programs, state of the art diagnostics, treatment and therapy, our comprehensive program also consists of patient and family education, support group sessions, that help patients and their families with their health care needs as well as financial, cultural and emotional needs.
The Cancer Center at Straub is accredited and has excellent volumes and outcomes.
The board-certified physicians in this department evaluate and treat all types of cancer and blood disorders. Utilizing Straub's Outpatient Treatment Center, patients can receive blood transfusions, chemotherapy, nutritional support, antibiotics, and other IV therapy. Straub's Certified Oncology nurses are skilled in providing education and emotional support to patients and their families.
