Beginning Friday, March 25, Wilcox Health will start phase two of parking lot improvements. These improvements will include increasing the number of handicapped parking spaces and widening the parking stalls at Kauai Medical Clinic.
The Kauai Medical Clinic parking lot will be closed for approximately one month to make these improvements. All entrances and sidewalks will remain open, but there will not be access to Kauai Medical Clinic parking stalls. During this time, after hours visitors should go to the main entrance of the hospital instead of the emergency department.
While these improvements are being made, free valet parking will be offered for patients and visitors 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at the spine of the hospital next to the main clinic entrance. While the Kauai Medical Clinic parking lot is closed for improvements, additional free valet parking will be available next to the emergency entrance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting Monday, April 4.
When completed, these improvements will provide greater parking options for patients, visitors, employees and students for years to come. Wilcox Health thanks everyone for their patience and understanding during this project.
