Diamond Head Tower Community Open House

Join us in celebrating a milestone for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children as we move into our new building!

The Diamond Head Tower is up, and we want you to come check it out! See all the wonderful services and creation of space our new building will offer our patients and visitors at the community open house on Saturday, July 16, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The community open house will be great fun for keiki and families! There will be face painting, games, photos with Tucker, a social media contest and more.

The 200,000-square-foot building stands five stories tall, and will include:

  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 70 private rooms
  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 14 private rooms
  • An 8,000-square-foot Rehabilitation Center for infants and children
  • Adult Medical Surgical Unit with 12 private rooms
  • Outpatient Clinic

The Diamond Head Tower also has special new features, including colorful paintings and murals created by patients of Kapiolani and children from the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii.
