This activity teaches participants how to safely administer medications commonly utilized in the Telemetry environment, in addition to safe monitoring patients receiving the medications.

Objectives:
1. Explain how the various classes of anti-arrhythmic medications work.
2. List medication options for treating various cardiac arrhythmias.
3. Discuss monitoring requirements for patients who are receiving anti-arrhythmic medications.
4. Identify how to safely administer anti-arrhythmic medications.

Continuing Education:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

This activity is approved for 3.0 contact hours for nurses.



This activity is intended for employees of Hawai'i Pacific Health, including non-employees who have credentialing privileges within HPH.
