This offering will discuss the incorporation of trauma information into the examination process. It will also review the best practices in performing and documenting findings in the sexual assault exam.
Objectives:
1. Identify the effects of trauma in the interview process.
2. Review current best practices in the sexual assault forensic exam.
3. Discuss techniques of effective testimony in court.
This offering is being presented by the Hawai'i Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Sex Abuse Treatment Center, KMCWC-HPH.
