The purpose of the Straub Friday Noon Grand Rounds is to provide an ongoing forum for clinicians to enhance their diagnostic, clinical and treatment skills. The activities are designed to change competence by highlighting trends in health care and research findings, updating clinicians on methods of diagnosis and treatment and improving the effectiveness of patient care.



Objectives:
1. Identify current diagnostic and treatment options, including the use of lab and imaging techniques.
2. Integrate research findings and experience in practice.


Hawai‘i Pacific Health is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for
Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to provide
continuing education for the healthcare team.

For Physicians we are offering CME
Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians
should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

For Nurses we are offering ANCC Contact Hours
Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for 1.0 contact hours for nurses. Nurses should only claim credit
commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

For Pharmacists we are offering continuing education credits
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of
continuing pharmacy education. This activity is assigned Universal Activity Number (UAN) 0587-0000-17-004-L04-P and
is accredited for 1 hour for attendance at the entire CE session.
