This program is focused on familiarizing participants with Hawai'i Pacific Health operations through inclusion of seminars on a variety of healthcare and leadership topics, in an effort to provide the highest quality service to patients. Participants are physicians, nurses and pharmacists who are interested in advancing their knowledge and preparing for a new leadership role at Hawai'i Pacific Health.


Objectives:
1. Discuss integrating into your practice an 8-step process for effectively leading change.
2. Develop and execute an effective communication plan for change initiatives.
3. Identify and manage resistance to change.
4. Describe acquired concepts and skills to your projects and practice.

Continuing Education:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (s) ™ for physicians and 3.5 contact hours for nurses. This activity is also assigned the Universal Activity Number (UAN) 0587-0000-17-005-L04-P and is accredited for 3.5 hours for pharmacists.


This activity is intended for employees of Hawai'i Pacific Health, including non-employees who have credentialing privileges within HPH.
