Learning Objectives: At the conclusion participants should be able to:
1. Discuss treatment, technology and techniques for optional delivery of care to trauma patients.
2. Apply evidence based practice guidelines for the urgent of injuries which is dynamic. It allows a forum for the physicians to stay "up-to'date" on current recommendations of management for that injury. Discuss ethical dilemmas of trauma care patients.
3. To monitor compliance with standards and identify additional needs for education system improvements of guidelines and policy revisions.
4. Engage with various departments and multi-disciplinary groups in the hospital regarding roles and responsibilities, resources available and limitations that may indicate immediate transfer to a higher level of care.
