OFFERING DESCRIPTION:
This course will review fundamentals of simulation facilitation including how to structure a pre-brief, run a debrief session, and open the door for additional simulation trainings.


TARGET AUDIENCE:
Nurses and physicians that currently facilitate simulation training or would like to in the future.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Train with the team through hands on experience.
2. Utilize simulation to deliver content and ensure learning objectives are met by the healthcare team.


CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
