TARGET AUDIENCE:
This conference is intended for physicians and other health care professionals.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Provide counsel for victims of sexual assault with special considerations for those suffering from mental illness.
2. Obtain informed consent prior to examination and make appropriate referrals for behavioral health following examination.
3. Integrate unique considerations when evaluating victims of sexual assault that may also be victims of domestic violence or sex trafficking.
4. Deliver sexual assault examination and care with unique considerations for the transgender or male patients.
5. Provide testimony via mock trial demonstration.
